Interests

Post completing his post-graduation from CEPT University, he got placed at a corporate architectural firm in Pune, where he had an opportunity to work on interior spaces of an International airport terminal in Saudi Arabia and the proposed extension of the Versova-Bandra Sea link in Mumbai. Since, 2018 he has been involved in customised furniture manufacturing with the aid of machinery and is further exploring the same. Meanwhile, he has also been into academics since 2019.

Pedagogy

His interest lies in design of spaces in context to the making and detailing of components. A keen interest for fabrication and details have inclined him towards technical drawings. Lately, he has been experimenting with how digital fabrication is and can further aid designers achieve not only prototypes but full fledged structures. He would further associate it with academic interests where we could train students with not only drafting softwares but also computer aided manufacturing as to how a digitally controlled machine functions and also know its limitations.

Milestones

Contributed to the research on Vernacular furniture of Rajasthan done by DICRC, CEPT University, through his thesis research.
Attended the IMIAD international workshop 2016 held at Nicosia, Cyprus.
Won a jury commendation for Saint-Gobain Transparence 2012 design competition.
