How can existing urban core be upgraded to contribute toward a regenerative, resilient built environment? Drawing on decades of experience working at the intersection of historic preservation and sustainability, we will show how historic buildings and infill projects, including office and mixed-use developments, can generate clean energy, use water responsibly, and minimize carbon impacts. The presentation will discuss approaches and principles that can be applied to projects of any scale.

Shroff trained at The Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Baroda in 2002 and at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (UK) in 2003.
