Jai Bhadgaonkar

Associate Professor

Jai’s passion for architecture and urban design is evident through his practice and ideology: user-oriented design. He works on projects and research based on place-making and incrementality in homegrown neighbourhoods of Mumbai and beyond. He has always been fascinated with the constantly changing dynamics between the city, people, and its architecture which create an opportunity for urban experiments resulting in innovative solutions and encouraging public participation that bring about the local transformations accepted as models of adaptations by the communities.
