Building Resilient Urban Communities (BReUCom)

A project funded under EU Erasmus+ Program in the field of Capacity Building in Higher Education. The post graduate program’s course work was conceptualized and conducted based on the Resilience paradigm from 2019-2021

KRVIA Exchange Program

The exchange workshop with ENSAS that year partnered with the French Institute in India and as part of the Franco Allemand grant, the project focused on how heritage is integrated into the smart city development plans of Indian cities. The participants studied the cities of Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh and made proposals for heritage to be integrated in smart city planning through open spaces, built form typologies and program.

KRVIA Guest Lecture

Members of the firm Snøhetta, an international architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and brand design office based in Oslo, Norway and New York City presented their work.

Urban Dialogue

Urban Dialogue seeks to initiate a discussion between professionals, students and graduates to offer new perspectives to the ongoing discourse on the future of our cities. Every year the KRVIA invites recent Masters graduates from the Urban Design and Conservation disciplines to showcase their thesis. The work of the participants is organised as themes to initiate a discussion between practitioners, academicians and students.

KRMLS

Lecture series and allied activities including the exhibition brought together a discussion on Ideas of Representation in the field of architecture. The exhibition showcased a decade of student works as experiments in architectural representation.
