Interests

Core interest lies in design processes and methodologies understanding socio cultural responses and their manifestations through tracing the histories of built environment. She is also keen about understanding architecture through creative drawings methods and architectural ideas, particularly which are heuristic in nature.

Pedagogy

Art and architecture education is a bold endeavor. One has to be very intuitive in one’s approach so as to develop natural abilities and temperament of the learner. Also firmly believes that learning about architecture and the built environment is a continuous evolving process creating a culture of independent enquiry and arguments.

Milestones

Worked as teaching assistant at CEPT in 2014 and was involved in teaching history courses. Has practiced as an architect in Nagpur with DAC consultants in 2015. She was also working with SMMCA Nagpur as an assistant professor in 2016 and 2017.
She is teaching in KRVIA since 2018. Apart from involvement in teaching history and theory courses she is also coordinator for the KRVIA Electives since then. Also worked as a research associate for KRVIA Design Cell.
